Where do Vitamins come from?

There are many people all over the world who take vitamin supplements day in and day out. And even if you are not taking a supplement you still know that you are getting vitamins when you eat food. But with that being said, do you know where vitamins come from? Not that this really matters because you know that they are good for you, but wouldn’t it be nice to know what you are putting into your body? Natural Vitamins

In most cases, vitamins are in natural foods such as fruits and vegetables. So obviously, the more foods that you eat rich in vitamins the more vitamins you will have in your body. But with that being said, there are also vitamin supplements that you can take as well. In some vitamin supplements you will also be dealing with natural vitamins. Simply put, the manufacturer extracts the vitamins from the food product, and then adds it to the supplement.





Synthetic Vitamins

In addition to natural vitamins, you can also take synthetic vitamins that are common in some type of supplements. The downside of these synthetic vitamins is that they are not always as effective as its natural alternative. If you are taking a synthetic vitamin supplement and are not feeling the effects, you may want to switch to natural. This could be all that you need in order to start feeling better.

So as you can see vitamins can come from two different places. They can either be had in natural foods or they can be produced synthetically.
